Although the third annual Fashion's Night Out is a little less than a month away, events and retailers were finally announced this morning! This year FNO will have stores participating in over 250 cities, including 200+ malls, 100+ online retailers, and over 1,000 supporting stores in just New York City alone.
What is Fashion's Night Out? FNO was a global initiative started back in 2009 to boost the industry's economy, celebrate fashion, and help build consumer confidence. The official hours are 6pm to 11pm on September 8th but many stores will be having events throughout the day so be sure to check the Fashion's Night Out website. This year there is also an iPhone and Android app to help NYC shoppers plan their evenings. Simply go to the app store and search for "FNO NYC Guide" to download.
Make sure to purchase your official FNO gear here which supports the New York City AIDS Fund. Merchandise is available online and at selected listed retailers. Items will include short-sleeved pima cotton T-shirts, long-sleeved T-shirts, totes, and hats.
Events will be constantly added to FNO until September 8th. Many will include a gift with purchase, free gifts, music, cocktails, and food. Here are some events that are already listed that can't be missed!
