Wolffer Merlot Chocolate Bar

Who doesn't love the combination of wine and chocolate? It is a classic pairing and happens to be two of my favorite indulgences. Two weekends ago when I was at Wolffer Estate Vineyard I was buying some wine to take home and the Wolffer Merlot Chocolate Bar caught my eye.

I turned the chocolate bar over and the ingredients were absolutely mouth watering. Dark chocolate, Wolffer merlot, European butter and Maldon salt? Count me in! I purchased one bar to try but the sales woman warned me I would be back. She let me know that the chocolates are specially made for Wollfer by a company called Mali B Sweets. I looked for the chocolate bars on their website {all of their products look amazing!} but you can only buy the Wolffer merlot chocolate bar at the vineyard.

The lady at Wolffer was definitely correct in that I would be craving more. The chocolate was not too bitter and not too sweet, and had a slight hint of merlot with a crunch of salt. I was immediately hooked. When we went back to Wolffer the next day I bought 3 more bars to hopefully ration slowly. She let me know that if I call the vineyard they can ship me chocolate {with wine of course!}.

 If you have any plans to visit Wolffer Estate Vineyard I highly recommend trying their chocolate bars. It is is also something great to include if you are shipping a bottle of their wine as a gift {I loved the Fatalis Fatum, the Caya and the Christian's Cuvee}. Enjoy and indulge!
